I have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sheltered Housing Manager, to successfully manage 29 Retirement Housing schemes with over 1500 units of support including provision to older people living in general needs housing or other tenures. In addition, you will be responsible for; Four Team leaders responsible for 22 Support Officers and two Handy persons.

You will be expected to lead and develop the older person's support service, ensuring delivery of an excellent and innovative customer focused service in line with the Housing Services' core objectives, policies, contractual arrangements and statutory requirements.

Key Requirements;

1) Well developed management skills including ability to lead, motivate and coordinate teams.
2) Budget management skills; understanding of budget setting processes and account management.

3) Effective communication in individual, group, verbal, written, formal and informal contexts.

4) Partnership working; relationship building, negotiation, influencing and contracting

5) Organisational skills; administrative, time, process management, project management.

6)Knowledge of Supporting People requirements including working knowledge of the Performance Framework
