Sen Teaching Assistant

We are currently looking to recruit Qualified Teaching Assistants to work on a one to one basis with children with Special Educational Needs.

We are working alongside a Local Authority and looking to register candidates for day-to-day and long-term supply.

The successful applicants would be supporting children across all Key Stages from Primary through to Secondary age across Hull and East Riding. We are looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants working one-to-one  basis.

 

The job will include:

·    helping pupil(s) increase their confidence, self-esteem and independence;

·    supporting pupil(s) in social activities and outings

·    attending to pupils' physical and psychological needs and deal with any emergencies

·    supporting the pupil(s) in communicating with others



Essentials:

·   Experience is a MUST (at least 3 months SEN Teaching Assistant experience in the past two years)

·  SEN or/and Teaching Assistant Qualifications are desirable

·  Flexible and adaptable approach to work

·  Willingness to promote learning

·  Innovative and resourceful Teaching Assistant methods

Willingness to travel to Hull and/or East Riding

Successful candidates will preferably hold an Enhanced CRB or be willing to process one through Hays Education
