A School in Beverley are looking for Administration staff to start as soon as possible, ideally with a hand over with the current member of staff to ensure a smooth transition the role is a team administration position within the School and therefore requires a Candidate with a valid CRB ideally from an Education background.
The role will be covering Administration duties for the School, it will require an organised, methodical and level headed individual as distractions from pupils can be frequent. The duties of the position are listed below:
Skills and experience required:
- Previous administration experience working within a School is ideal but NOT essential
- Ability to fulfil the above duties
- The ability to work to own initiative
- Kind natured and well mannered
- Organised, methodical manner
- Approachable manner
- Professional and well presented
- Able to act as visitors first point of contact
- Able to provide good customer service
- Valid CRB is essential
- Work well in a team
- Reception duties: meeting and greeting visitors, signing them in, providing refreshments where needed, filling and photocopying.
- Answering the telephone, transferring calls, taking messages
- Typing letters to parents
- Simple data entry
- Petty cash management
- General reception duties
- Any other duties where required
