This is an excellent opportunity for a SHE professional to join a highly reputable chemical company in the North East of England.
Working from a single site, it will be your job to look after the Safety, Health and Environmental needs of over one thousand employees on site.
With managing, monitoring and tailoring SHE management systems for the company, you will be required to work with the departmental managers improving the H&SE culture and training them to monitor their own SHE systems and behaviour in their own departments. You will also be required to provide risk assessments, method statements, inspections, audits, re-write and enforce policies and procedures.
This is a very hands on position which would suit someone of a very adaptable and communicative nature.
Candidates are asked to have a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, with a formal environmental qualification and experience working/managing SHE in a chemical, FMCG or logistics background.
