Fender 1200 Pro Series Bassman bass amplifier.

A 1200 Watt, 2-channel fully featured amplifier. It’s powerful enough to play any professional venue and structurally engineered to travel, a very road worthy, portable head that’ll conveniently fit into a two-space rackmount.

The “1200 watts” speaks for itself, It’s monstrous, headroom will never be an issue and the sound quality will at no point will be compromised for the volume. Amp features two 12AX7 pre-amp tubes with a Fender solid-state power amp. It comes equipped with a ten-band graphic equalizer, built-in dual-band compressor & is complete with a 3-way footswitch (Channel 1; clean, Channel 2; overdrive/mix and Graphic on/off).

Additional on-board features such as an effects loop, active/passive input pad selector, tuner out jack with mute, balanced line out, EQ active indicator, and Master Volume, Gain, Low, High and Mid Notch controls.

I’m selling this amp as I’m playing drums in my current band and need to spend money on cymbals etc. This, once my bread and butter, is now unfortunately taking up space. I’ve come to the conclusion that for such an outstanding amp to be sat un-used is criminal and she needs to go to a new home & be used.

This is, bar none, the best sounding amp I’ve ever played. I’ve toured with it, recorded with it, and swore by it for the last three years. Despite the usage I’ve had from it the amps’ condition is absolutely mint! (Never previously taken out of it’s flight case since purchasing it.)

The over-drive channel is at it’s best when mixed with the cleaner channel giving a clear yet crushing overdriven sound which is how I had the amp set. The fact you can blend the channels makes this amplifier that bit more versatile (..as if the 10-band graphic EQ, the high/low controls, mid-notch, dual band compressor and footswitch wasn’t enough to mould your sound).

This fine piece of engineering would suite any bassist, playing any genre of music down to the ground! Normal retail (where you can get your hands on them!) is £1,299 and even the internet discount shops rarely drop below £1,100 so pick up a bargain.
