I'm looking for a female or male au pair to help look after my 2 sons aged 10 and 12. They are very independent, fun boys and I am really looking for someone who can 'supervise' them after school with their homework and cooking tea. I would like someone with reasonable English and who is kind, patient and caring but can be firm and fair when necessary.

We live in a village 3 miles from Beverley, the nearest town which has most shops, library, pubs and restaurants and a leisure center. There is a train station with regular trains to Hull (15 mins away) and 2 hour trip to London. Walkington is a really lovely village with a good local shop and 2 pubs. There are regular buses to Beverley, where there is a college that teaches English

Duties will include light housework and ironing as well as looking after the boys and cooking them tea.

The boys get the school bus at 08.20 in the morning and I leave at 08.00. They get the bus home arriving approximately 4 O'clock and I get home anytime between 6 and 7 pm. I am looking for 30 hours per week with 2 nights babysiting for £70 per week pocket money with free board and lodging. You will have your own room with TV and DVD player.

I will need references please and it would be good if you have previous experience. Driving license may be useful although for emergency use of the car only and not personal use.

I have had au pairs for 2 years now and they have all stayed the year and I am happy to give their contact details if required. I am fairly easy going and we would welcome you warmly into our family.
