An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide highly complex financial advice and support to the Executive Directors, the Deputy Director of Finance and other Senior Managers at Humber Mental Health Teaching NHS Trust. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance, this stand-alone post will focus heavily on the corporate finance function. You will lead on the annual reference cost and financial mapping exercises and use your costing experience to prepare the monthly service line reports. In addition you will provide support to finance projects including payment by results and fully utilise the costing system where appropriate.

This post would suit a recently qualified or finalist accountant and would provide the chance to develop costing skills to an expert level.

Skills:

In order to take up this position, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

- Professionally qualified accountant and hold current membership to ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA (Finalists will be considered).

- Expert financial and management accounting skill set.

- Costing experience.

- Financial modelling/business case experience.

- Self starter, with effective communication skills.  

The ability to commute within the Trusts geographical area with access to the appropriate means of transport is essential.
