We are a young couple who need a new home ASAP after being ILLEGALLY evicted from our home.

We currently on jobseekers allowance looking to move away and make a fresh start, though given our current situation, anywhere will do Although some landlords do not like to let to the unemployed, at least you know your rent is guaranteed by housing benefit!

We have 2 young dogs, both very friendly and well trained and we would love to move into a place we could happily stay and raise a family for a few years!

We are looking for ideally a 1/2 bed house with reasonable garden, in the price range of £300-550 a month but are looking for anything!

The only issue would be 1st months rent/deposit. Housing benefit is paid one month in arrears, so you need to be willing to accept either:

1. Deposit to the value of one month rent, with the rent being paid in arrears by housing benefit,

or

2. One month rent in advance, without a deposit, but with an extra figure of, for example, £50 a month until a deposit is secured.

We understand that this is not the norm, but given our situation this is all that we can do. Surprise surprise, the local councils cannot / will not help us as we are not a priority, even though we have been unlawfully deprived of our home.
