Senior Practitioner / Social Worker - Humberside - Fostering

A thriving independent care agency requires a qualified and experienced Social Worker / Senior Practitioner to support the Foster Care team in the Humberside region.

Due to sustained growth, the client can now offer a new position for qualified Social Workers who can contribute to the recruitment, training and supervision of their Foster Carers. The Senior Practitioner will be responsible for providing guidance, support and expertise to the Social Work / staff team.

You will be a Qualified Social Worker possessing Post Graduate Qualification (Degree, DipSW or CQSW) and valid GSCC Registration. Candidates must also have significant experience of working in a childcare environment, preferably in a foster care or family placement setting. Knowledge of fostering regulations and the National Minimum Standards are important requirements for anybody wishing to successfully.
